Founder and creator of The Storrior Box, Cuartero-Briggs is a native New Yorker currently enjoying a career as a dramatic writer in sunny Los Angeles. Cuartero-Briggs has written for USA's Queen of the South, E! Entertainment's The Arrangement. Published works include Silver City and Mary Shelley Monster Hunter with Aftershock Comics, as well as Bottles on the Water, A Night of Short Plays from Abroad. She has also written for The Meet Cute Podcast as well as several stories for Episode Interactive. Cuartero-Briggs has taught dramatic writing classes with L.A.'s BGB studio, and is currently the lead instructor for The Creator Lab with the Pickford West Society. She earned her B.A. with honors from Oberlin College, and an M.F.A. in dramatic writing from Tisch School of the Arts, Asia.
Partner Emily Grace is an entrepreneur, creator, and Sundance award-winning actress. Through her company, Pickford West, she helps actress/creators make their own opportunities. Inspired by the pioneering actresses of the Golden Age of Hollywood, Mary Pickford and Mae West, Emily helps women create success on their own terms.
For the past 12 years Emily has coached actors to treat their career like a business, build relationships with the people who can hire them, land meetings, and create their own content. She recently joined forces with working tv writer Olivia Cuartero-Briggs to design The Creator Lab, the premiere training program to help women become successful creators, so that they can make their mark on the entertainment industry with stories that need to be told.
